It's been a minute and yes, I took a long break from blogging which, of course, was not planned. By the end of last year I was so drained and I needed to rest. I do ministry and work with different churches and schools, then there's business and family. And lastly, there's also self. So rest was needed. I may seem like I have overdone it but, honestly, I still need more rest.
I have quite a few topics in my drafts for this bog and hopefully I will be back to posting every week as intended. Some were unhappy with my silence but I'm back :). Last year I started writing about the art of Christian sisterhood but couldn't finish. So I want to share my views and my thoughts on it since part of my ministry involves women.
The art of Christian sisterhood is a beautiful and powerful concept that embodies the idea of women supporting and uplifting one another in the spirit of love, faith and unity in Christ. In the bible, we are reminded of the importance of sisterhood as we are called to love one another and build one another up in the faith. The art of Christian sisterhood is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and His message of love, compassion and unity.
At the heart of this sisterhood is the belief that women are called to be a source of support for one another. This means being there for one another in times of joy and in times of sorrow, offering a listening ear and a helping hand and standing by one another in prayer and support. The art of Christian sisterhood is not just about forming friendships, but it is also about building meaningful and deep connections that are grounded in the love of Christ.
In this sisterhood, there's an emphasis on celebrating each other's successes and achievements, while also providing comfort and encouragement during times of struggles and hardship. It is about being each other's cheerleaders and confidantes, offering unwavering support through the highs and lows of life. This bond is strengthened by the shared faith and values that unite Christian women, creating sisterhood that is built on the foundation of Christ's love.
The art of Christian sisterhood also involves serving and ministering to one another, reaching out to those in need and being a light to others in the world. This can be seen through acts of kindness, generosity and compassion as well as through sharing the gospel and bringing hope and healing to those who are hurting. It is a call to serve and love one another as Christ has loved us and to be a testament to the power of faith and sisterhood.
In Christian sisterhood, there is an understanding that no woman should be alone in her journey of faith. We are all bound together by our shared belief and love for Christ and we are called to walk alongside each other, supporting and encouraging one another as we seek to grow in our faith and live out God's purpose for our lives. This sisterhood is defined by selflessness, forgiveness and grace as we strive to embody the love of Christ in our relationships with one another.
The art of Christian sisterhood is a reflection of the beauty and strength that comes from women coming together in faith and love. It is a bond that transcends wordly expectations and fosters a sense of belonging, understanding and empowerment. Through the art of sisterhood, women are able to draw closer to God and one another, creating a community of love and support that is rooted in the teachings of Christ Jesus. It is a sisterhood that holds each other up, encourages each other and empowers each other to live out their faith and purpose with boldness and courage.
May the Lord give us the grace to be the sisters that our sisters in Christ need.
Grace and Peace.
