Charting The Course 2025: My Plans and Goals For The Year

Hello! I hope we are all doing great. I'm so glad autumn is here and we can take a little break from the heat. If you have just subscribed, welcome! We are happy to have you fam and thank you. Thank you so much also to everyone who has been sharing the magazine. The goal is to reach as many women as possible. This is only the beginning. We have big plans for this magazine and we have barely scratched the surface and a lot more is coming! We have plans to reach as many women's organisations as possible. Share their names if you know some. Every woman deserves to know she is worth more than she has been made to believe. We are loved by the Creator of everything and so should live as such.

I shared my plans for the year in my old website and so much has happened in less than 3 months! I normally plan for the following year in November so that I don't find myself with unwelcome surprises. I try to stick to the plan as much as I can and I only fit in more where possible. It's usually stuff like speaking engagements and bible teaching engagements. But even with these, The Lord is always gracious enough to show me which ones to take and which ones not to.

My year always starts in February. People have asked me why but honestly, there is no reason other than that I choose to. January is after the holidays and I normally need to get some rest before I tackle the difficult tasks for the new year. I try to take more rest breaks during the course of the year but also, I take one day a week where I don't do any work. This is important for me to keep my sanity :). So every week I take 2 days off - one day is for spending time with the Lord with no disturbances and another day is for relaxation and recharging.

So, here I will share some of these plans with the hope of helping someone who may be feeling like they are in a rut. I've seen how encouraged I become when I see other people's plans and I want to do the same for others. If you have a problem with planning, let me know so I can try to help you figure it out. As a believer in Christ, one of the important things for me is to help build others up in a way that glorifies God and help them walk in the path that the Lord has mapped out for them.

I offer free mentorship and I want to keep it strictly 3 months but if it goes beyond that it's still okay. Check out the mentorship blog post for details. The form is also available if you are interested. I prefer mentorship over coaching because it is less formal but that doesn't mean I don't set strict rules. I am generally a strict person with high standard expectations because that is what I give also. I expect a certain level of professionalism from everyone I mentor.

And also, I created a magazine! Yay! It's only 2 months old, which means we only have published 2 copies. This magazine is free for now but it was never meant to be free but I'm looking into ways to keep it free. When I left my job to do ministry, the Lord told me that He would give me Seeds to sow and Bread to eat. I asked Him what this meant and He said some of the work would be for free (seeds) and some would be profitable (bread). The magazine was given as bread. I'm still praying about it. Our magazine features stories and articles that help women in business and in the marketplace in general, women in ministry and families in general. I have also written about career development and personal development, health and wellness and many other topics. The magazine for each month is available in our shop for downloading. I've also featured 2 amazing women in our magazine. My aim is to help uplift as many women as possible and help nurture writing talent for those who have been called to write. I have featured 2 in the blog and hope to feature more in the future.

The plan was to publish 3 books this year and I have already published 2 (The Sacred Entrepreneur - Partnering With God in Your Business and Healthy Food and Drinks at Home) because they were ready but needed editing. I hope to publish another one before the end of the year. I've been selling my books via Amazon but sometimes their hard cover/paperbacks just change everything. One good thing about Amazon is that they print your book but the cover colour sometimes isn't exactly like the one you submitted. They also give you the ISBN for the printed book. I'm still looking into this to find out the best way to sell hardcovers/paperbacks. For now, I'm only doing digital books.

I had a lot of free resources in my old website and I haven't found a way to bring them here. This website doesn't have an option for free downloads. You have to price the item and then give it a 100% discount. This is what I do with the magazine but I'm not sure this is what I want to do with the other free resources. The Lord instructed me to write these resources and this is why I need to make them available. And also, I have received great testimonies about them. I'll eventually find a way though. I also plan to continue reaching women and young people who have been through trials whether at home, work or church. This is what We Create Wells Network is about. I also work with schools to reach the youth but I also work with the youth outside school. This year I am not sure how long I am going to continue with schools but even if I stop going to schools, I will still work with the youth, especially the troubled ones as per God's instruction and plan for The Exodus Continues Network. I've noticed that even though there are different writing communities online, they are often not very helpful for someone who is starting out on their writing journey. There is a lot of competition and I understand because they're not strictly for Christians, hence the lack of compassion. I am prayerfully considering to start a writing community for New Christian writers for support and encouragement. I don't have details yet but I will make them available if I get a confirmation from the Lord.

I'm grateful that the website is up and running and I will be able to carry out my assignment better by the grace of God. No more delays.
